Study of Conservatives in Academe
To the Editor:
After reading Roger W. Bowen's comment about sample size in "Study Finds Conservatives Are Less Likely to Advance in Academe" (The Chronicle, April 8), I would like to suggest that he review, say, intermediate-statistics materials on the subject of sample size and generalizability.
