Students at Indian College Protest Move to Oust President; Advisory Board of Women's Program at Johns Hopkins Resigns
There was another battle at Little Big Horn last week -- Little Big Horn College, that is.
Students at the college, which is near the battlefield in Montana, met last week with Crow tribal leaders to try to block an attempt by some members of the institution's Board of Trustees to fire the president, Janine Pease-Pretty on Top, a prominent tribal-college leader.
The Crow leaders deferred any comment on the matter until the board met to decide whether the president will stay.
