Students Think the Economy Is a Big Problem—Just Not for Them
The economy may be the issue of the day, but so far most college students aren't feeling the consequences.
In a poll conducted by CBS News, UWIRE, and The Chronicle of Higher Education last week in Colorado, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, more than three-quarters of students said the economy is an extremely important issue in the presidential election. Those states are key battlegrounds in this presidential election, and all but North Carolina face budget
