Students Protest Classes Held on Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday
Dozens of Westminster College students last week protested the college's practice of holding classes on the national holiday recognizing Martin Luther King, Jr.
The demonstration began in the college's chapel, where Jason Hunter, president of the Black Student Union, led the protesters in prayer. The group then walked around the campus singing such songs as "We Shall Overcome."
