Students Lobby for Action on Climate Change

Thousands of college students descended on Capitol Hill last week to press Congress for more action on the issue of climate change. Several testified at a hearing, and many others, representing about 500 colleges, held a rally and met with lawmakers to discuss issues like carbon emissions and fuel efficiency.
