Students Find Web Inadequate as a Research Tool, Survey Shows
A survey has found that most college students start their research on commercial search engines but are not satisfied with the information they find there.
The OCLC Online Computer Library Center, a nonprofit group of more than 41,000 public and college libraries, surveyed 1,050 students, ages 18 to 24 -- more than half of whom were seniors and juniors -- from every part of the country.
