Students Arrested  in UVa Wage Protest

Seventeen students taking part in a sit-in at the University of Virginia were arrested this month after spending four days in the lobby of the president's office in a "living wage" campaign on behalf of university workers.

A similar protest on behalf of workers at the University of Vermont ended on April 14 after three days when two dozen demonstrators were evicted from a tent city on the university green.
