Student Who Was Tasered Apologizes for His Actions
The University of Florida and Andrew W. Meyer, the student whom campus police officers shocked with a Taser in September, have resolved their differences with forgiveness and letters of apology.
Mr. Meyer will serve 18 months of probation rather than face prosecution.
After an outburst at a speech by Sen. John F. Kerry, Mr. Meyer was charged with two misdemeanors: resisting an officer without violence and interfering with an educational-institution function. University police
