Student Strike Ends in Nepal
The government of Nepal has agreed to demands made by the student group allied with the country's Maoist rebels, ending a two-week strike that had kept millions of students, at all levels of instruction, from attending class, the Associated Press reported.
Human-rights activists mediated the agreement, and schools and colleges reopened last week.
