Stephen Cobb, a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, was listed in stable condition at a hospital today after being shot during an argument in his dormitory room on Saturday evening. Campus police officers have arrested two suspects and are looking for a third. Immediately after the incident, students in the dorm subdued the alleged shooter and held him until police officers arrived, according to the News & Record, a newspaper in Greensboro. Campus police officials said the man accused of shooting Mr. Cobb was not a student at the university. —Eric Hoover
