As Canada Prepares to Vote, a Student Group Grades the Parties
In the week before Canada votes on a new government, student and university associations, along with scientists, weighed in on a campaign that has not focused strongly on higher-education issues.
Five political parties are vying for the right to form a new government in an election, set for Tuesday. While their leaders have not debated education, most of the parties have indicated in platforms and other statements that they would provide additional support for academic research
