Student Elections at Haverford College Attract a Big Turnout Online
If voter apathy is a concern in this year's U.S. presidential race, election organizers might take a cue from Haverford College.
Instead of waiting at voting booths, students at the Pennsylvania college cast online ballots for student-government and honor-council elections this month.
About two-thirds of the 1,000 undergraduates voted, including, for the first time, those who were studying abroad. In the past, the turnout never reached 50
