'Storytelling'
What it is: Todd Solondz's latest film is actually two films, Nonfiction and Fiction. The latter deals with issues of race and sex in a creative-writing workshop in which "Mr. Scott," a black, Pulitzer Prize-winning professor, seduces white undergraduate women.
Our expert: Alan Cheuse, a fiction writer, journalist, and National Public Radio commentator who has taught creative writing at George Mason University since 1984.
