Stop the Hypocrisy in College Athletics

Reform of big-time intercollegiate athletics with the participation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association just doesn't work ("Big Ten Faculty Group Calls for Reform in College Sports," November 23). The 10 faculty groups that invited the University of Chicago to participate ought to push for elimination of Division I sports and join Chicago in Division III. ...
