New data released this morning by the Census Bureau provided new evidence of the monetary value of a higher education. According to statistics in a series of tables, collectively titled “Educational Attainment in the United States: 2006,” adults with advanced degrees earn four times as much as adults with less than a high-school diploma, $80,000 to $20,000.
