States' Tests for High-School Students Are Out of Sync With College Standards, Report Says

States should re-examine the content of their standardized tests for high-school students so the examinations align more closely with the skills and knowledge that colleges expect freshmen to have upon enrollment, according to a report released last month by a group of leading research universities.
