States Increase Spending on Student Aid by Smallest Amount in 6 Years, Survey Finds
Table: State funds for student aid, 2003-4States have again increased their spending on student financial aid, but the growth was less robust than in recent years, an annual survey has found.
The 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico awarded a total of $7.3-billion in financial aid in 2003-4, according to a report scheduled to be released this week by the National Association of State Student Grant and Aid
