State University and Private College Offer Joint Degree in Bioengineering
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
Two universities -- one public, one private -- in different states are creating a new bioengineering school that will award joint master's and doctoral degrees from both institutions. The Virginia Tech-Wake Forest University School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences may admit its first students by January 2003.
