State Referenda Related to Higher Education

Ballots in 16 states will carry measures related to higher education. In addition, voters in 12 states will be deciding on referenda that would limit state and local governments' powers to force the sale of private property for another private use or for economic development. If those measures pass, they could limit colleges' ability to acquire land through eminent domain.
