ANTIDISCRIMINATION POLICY: The University of Georgia will add sexual orientation to a list of protected characteristics covered under its antidiscrimination policy, Michael F. Adams, the university's president, has announced. Georgia will also begin to offer some benefits, such as the privilege of using university facilities, to employees' domestic partners. More-extensive benefits, including health insurance, would not be covered under the plan, which is to take effect on July
