State Department to Bring Foreign Students to Community Colleges

The U.S. Department of State plans to provide $3-million next year to enable students from developing countries to study at American community colleges, a department official told college leaders here last week. The program would concentrate specifically on students who want to earn associate degrees and return to their home countries.
