Stanford Senior's Web Site Shops for Cheapest Textbooks
Stanford university students looking for the cheapest textbook prices can now let a robot help with their shopping.
A Stanford senior, Thai Tran, has created a World-Wide Web site that scours the listings of 10 on-line booksellers -- including Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and others -- to find out which stores carry the textbooks and how much each charges for the titles.
