Stanford Officials Attempt to Trace Origin of Racist E-Mail Message
Stanford University computing officials are marshaling their high-tech forces to identify the person who sent a racist e-mail message to about 25,000 students, professors, and staff members.
The incident is the latest example of what has become a familiar occurrence on college campuses and at other large organizations: A troublemaker, masking his or her electronic identity, sends unsolicited and offensive
