Spring Forward
'Parkour' aficionados jump, roll, and dart across campuses
Billy Hughes, a college junior, barely turns heads on the American University campus when, Spider-Man-like, he leaps from a handrail to grab onto the face of an opposing wall, then hoists himself over it. "I've used this to catch a bus a few times," he says, before shinnying between two rails and disappearing over a second wall, landing gracefully in the woodchips 12 feet below.
