Spring Breakout
As Dartmouth College students prepared this month for spring break's bacchanalian bliss, campus officials issued the following warning: Don't share drinking glasses, and wash your hands frequently.
It wasn't cleaner partying the officials were after. Rather, they wanted to curb an outbreak of pinkeye that has raged through the campus for the past two months, infecting nearly 1,000 students.
