Spate of Failures at the Top Grows, With 3 More Presidents Ousted
The number of presidential meltdowns this year continues to grow, with three more college presidents calling it quits or being pushed out in the last several weeks.
Manny M. Aragon resigned as president of New Mexico Highlands University; Karl E. Burgher resigned as president of the University of Maine at Presque Isle; and the Board of Trustees at Clark College, in Vancouver, Wash., fired its president, R. Wayne Branch.
