Southern Baptists Decry Plan in Texas to Cut Support to 6 Seminaries
The Baptist General Convention of Texas is expected to cut most of its financial support for six seminaries controlled by the more conservative Southern Baptist Convention because of differences in theology and serious concerns over academic freedom on the campuses.
