Southern Association Upholds Loss of Accreditation for Morris Brown College
Morris Brown College has failed to persuade an appeals panel of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to restore its accreditation. The college's president, Charles E. Taylor, vowed last week to keep the historically black institution alive, even though it has lost access to critical federal financial aid.
