Southern Accrediting Group Penalizes 21 Colleges
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools penalized 21 institutions last month. One college may soon be stripped of its accreditation, and seven were placed on probation, the most serious penalty short of losing accreditation. Thirteen colleges were placed on the milder "warning" status.
