South Korea Will Kill 15 Public Universities
South Korea plans to cut the number of national universities from 50 to 35 over the next two years, according to a report that the country's education ministry submitted to President Roh Moo-hyun last month. In addition, the ministry will reduce the number of students entering national universities by 10 percent, said Kim Jin-pyo, the education minister.
