Some Women's Colleges Experience a 'Revival'

By focusing on changes at several small, struggling institutions, Leo Reisberg's article "A Crossroads for Women's Colleges" (November 10) is missing a larger story, the revival and educational pace-setting role of many women's colleges.

At Agnes Scott College, an unprecedented enrollment explosion is taking place. Enrollment is up by 50 percent, from 608 in 1995 to 901 in 2000, without adding any new programs open to men. All of our students are women, with the
