Some Students Think 'Smart' Identification Cards Go Too Far
The new high-tech I.D. cards for students in California's Foothill-De Anza Community College District may be "smarter" than the old ones, but for some students that isn't necessarily a plus.
The students say that they are uncomfortable with the corporate tie-ins that are part of the new credit-card-style I.D., and that they resent having company logos on the card they use to check out library books, attend campus events, and sign in at language and computer
