Some Colleges Pay Students to Go to Class -- to Evaluate Teaching
Nothing makes faculty members more anxious in the classroom than having a colleague observe their teaching. That's why some colleges are turning to students for insights on instruction.
A handful of institutions have created student-observer programs for faculty members who would like input on their teaching but are loath to get it from another instructor.
