Solar Pressure

Luke Field and Eric Stear have a little summer project going — they're building an 800-square-foot solar-powered house. For a very, very demanding client.

Using only energy from the sun, the house will have to heat, cool, humidify, and dehumidify itself, all within precise ranges. It will have to make enough hot water for showers and produce enough electricity to keep the lights on, boil water on the stove top, run the dishwasher, and wash and dry loads of towels. It needs
