Social Responsibility at Coke
To the Editor:
I'd like to respond to two pieces that ran in The Chronicle regarding the Coca-Cola Company and our business on college campuses ("Soft Drinks, Hard Feelings," April 14, and "U. of Michigan to Buy Coke Again," April 21).
The first article quotes Kellie McElhaney, of the University of California at Berkeley, as saying that "any company that's doing business on a college campus should be very aware of its social and environmental impact." The Coca-Cola Company
