Similar Views of Islam, Different Conclusions

It was very interesting to read Joseph R. Fisher's comments on the Muslim world, complete with the assertion that "Islam sucks" ("Taking on Faith," Short Subjects, March 22), and to see very similar views attributed to Pakistan's president, Pervez Musharraf ... (World Beat, March 22). ... I found it quite ironic that Mr. Fisher used the words to tear down Islam, and Mr. Musharraf used the words as a call to action in order to edify Islam and to focus more attention on
