Shimer College Set to Move

Shimer College, which 27 years ago relocated from western Illinois to Waukegan, an outer northern suburb of Chicago, is on the move again — this time, to the Windy City.

Trustees of the small liberal-arts college voted in January to relocate most of Shimer's programs to the campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology, beginning this fall.
