Sexual Violence at Hawaii
Students on all 10 campuses in the University of Hawaii system said they had experienced domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault during their college careers, according to the system's first Student Survey on Sexual and Relationship Violence. At the University of Hawaii at Hilo, 14 percent of female students who responded to the survey said they had been sexually assaulted, and 14 percent of male students said they had been victims of domestic violence.
