Sex, Art, and Education in Second Life

I was greatly impressed with the balanced approach Andrea L. Foster took in describing educational uses of the virtual world Second Life ("Professor Avatar" and "Second Life: Second Thoughts and Doubts," The Chronicle, September 21). Those uses are manifold; I've taken a composition class "in world" once, and I am now planning a second activity with a literature course exploring written and visual reactions to technology.
