Several Foundations Award Big Grants to Study For-Profit Education

Wall Street investors aren't the only ones interested in for-profit education. Several foundations are, as well.

The Ford and Alfred P. Sloan Foundations, as well as the Pew Charitable Trusts, have each recently awarded several sizable grants to academic researchers and think tanks to examine the rise of the for-profit education industry and its impact on non-profit institutions.
