Settlement Clears Way for $125-Million Gifts to U. of Nebraska and Polytechnic U.
By JULIANNE BASINGERThe University of Nebraska's Board of Regents has approved a settlement in a dispute over a donor's will, clearing the way for a gift to the Lincoln campus that could be worth about $125-million and an equally large gift to Polytechnic University, in New York.
For both universities, the gifts would be the largest single donations in their histories.
