Serbian Students Defy Government Order
Students at universities in Serbia defied a government order last month to close their campuses the next day, a week before the scheduled end of the academic year.
At the University of Belgrade, the country's leading institution, students found most buildings open and went inside to discuss further protests in their efforts to topple the government of Slobodan Milosevic, which ordered the closure to prevent such protests.
