Sense and Censorship

The editors of The Heights, an independent student newspaper at Boston College, have no tolerance for symbols of intolerance.

Last month, they rejected an ad for a student production of Good, a play about the Nazi movement in Germany, because the promo featured a swastika.

"We have a sizable community of Jewish students, and we are located in a town with a large Jewish population," says Nancy Reardon, the editor in chief. She denies that the editors censored the ad, noting that
