Senate Confirms National Archivist
The U.S. Senate has confirmed Allen Weinstein, who came under fire last year, to be the national archivist.
Concerns about Mr. Weinstein, a former professor of history and international studies at Boston University, Georgetown University, and Smith College, stemmed from his refusal to release notes from his 1978 book on the Alger Hiss case.
