Senate Approves Key Education Dept. Nominee
The Senate last week approved President Clinton's nominee for a key Education Department post, but held off on a nominee for the Corporation for National Service.
Last week, the full Senate unanimously approved A. Lee Fritschler as Assistant Secretary for postsecondary education. Earlier, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee unanimously agreed to endorse Anthony Musick as chief financial officer for the Corporation for National Service,
