Sen. Lieberman Urges Increase in Pell Grants
Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, called for the federal government to spend more money on Pell Grants and for colleges to share information on their enrollment and graduation rates, as he unveiled his higher-education platform last week.
