Seek and He Shall Find
Tao Yang wants to help people find answers to pretty much everything. To do that, he sifts through billions of Internet pages.
Or rather, the search engine Ask.com does, thanks to Mr. Yang. The professor of computer science at the University of California at Santa Barbara is chief scientist for the search engine formerly known as Ask Jeeves, which revamped its site in February, dropping its butler mascot.
