Scientist Says China's New Rules Will Stifle Research on Deadly Bird Flu
A top Chinese virologist has criticized new government restrictions that he says will hinder efforts to study and fight a deadly strain of avian influenza.
The regulations, published online this month by China's Ministry of Agriculture, govern the collection and study of serum samples from dead birds.
