Scholarship That Goes Beyond Print

Gary A. Olson's "Certifying Online Research" (Careers, June 6) incorrectly conflates online research and electronically published scholarship and thus furthers misunderstanding of the difference between sources and formats.
Computer-literate researchers use online resources for easy access to the scholarship of others. Libraries and museums around the world have digitized the materials in their collections for just that purpose, improving the materials'
