Scholars in Motion
The program in Asian-American studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was on the move this month -- literally.
It took a company hired by the university just under seven hours to relocate the 10-room, 100-ton building that houses the program two blocks west of its original site.
University officials had planned to demolish the 90-year-old house, located at the campus center, to make way for an expanded Child Development Laboratory -- a university-based
